Experiences and Projects
Microteaching
I had the opportunity to take microteaching classes in my university and performed a couple of microteaching lessons during my school years. It gave me the opportunity to prepare myself as a teacher before I actually met with my future students and get to know my preferred methods and techniques in teaching English.
Internship
Experiencing a real classroom at Efeler Secondary School and being able to use the methods and techniques that I have learned on actual students was crucial for my identity as a teacher.
I have also done some projects like the one that is shown below in order to help the students' language learning journey.
With this project, I aimed to make the memorization of words easier for students. There are certain words or phrases that can be challenging for language learners and from my experience, I have reached the conclusion that these type of little reminders benefit the students on the long run and enhance their language abilities in general.
